Lei Li

Lei Li(李磊), PhD

Lei Li received his bioinformatics training in The CAS-MPG Partner Institute for Computational Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and later obtained his PhD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong in 2013. He received Postdoc trainings in the lab of Jörg Vogel at the University of Würzburg in Germany between 2013-2016, and in the lab of Wei Li at the Baylor College of Medicine, University of California Irvine in USA between 2016-2021. From February of 2021, he is a Principal Investigator at the Shenzhen Bay Laboratory, China.

Dr. Li is a recipient of National Natural Science Fund for Excellent Young Scientists (Oversea), and Oversea High-Caliber Personnel Award (Level B), ShenZhen.

Xudong Zou

Xudong Zou, PhD

Xudong Zou received his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Peking University in 2018. He received Postdoc training in the lab of Wei Chen at the Southern University of Science and Technology between 2018-2020. His research currently focuses on the functional interpretation of human non-coding variants, especially the transcription and post-transcription (alternative splicing and polyadenylation) regulation of molecular mechanisms responsible for disease/traits.



Yangmei Qin

Yangmei Qin, PhD

Yangmei Qin received her Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Xiamen University in 2019,and has rich experience in high-throughput omics data analysis. Her research currently focuses on the multi-omics analysis and clinical big data mining.



Yong Zhang

Yong Zhang received His MS in Dr. Jue Ruan's Lab from AGIS Institute at Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2022. His interest is focused on bioinformatics method development.

Xiangli Liu received her MS in Dalian Polytechnic University in 2020, she is an assistant in the administrative work of laboratory.


Hui Chen

Hui Chen

Hui Chen received her MS in South China University of Technology in 2021, she is currently a PhD candidate in the lab. Her research currently focuses on integrative analysis of high-throughput multi-omics data for complex diseases based on next-generation sequencing.


Shifei Zhang

Shifei Zhang

Shifei Zhang is a master student in Northwest A&F University, major in Bioinformatics. His current research primarily focuses on the functional interpretation of non-coding genetic variants associated with human diseases.
